Pamar S.A.S.

Q: What was the first piece of Hatco equipment your business sold?

A: The first piece of equipment sold by us was a Toaster, TK-100.

Q: What has being a Hatco Rep meant for your business?

A: Being a Hatco Rep for our business is a point of reference when approaching the customers as it is a well-known brand mark, also for a very difficult market like ours.

Q: What is the best memory from being a Hatco Rep?

A: Our best memory was our first participation to the NAFEM trade fair of February this year (2013) as reps and particularly the great party held at the Orlando Hard Rock Café which proudly showed the very strong ties existing between Hatco, Reps, Dealers and customers.

Thank you to Paolo & Micky Marchiori for providing these answers and to Pamar S.A.S. for being a Hatco Rep for 12 years!

Q: What was the first piece of Hatco equipment your business sold?

A: First unit was a Booster I sold on my first day in August 1977.

Q: What has being a Hatco Rep meant for your business?

A: Representing Hatco as one of our lines is like having a large department store as the anchor to a mall. It is what drives customers to us. It is the cornerstone of our rep firm. It brings us status and respect by both our customers and other manufacturers as someone that deserves to represent the best company in the industry.

Q: What is the best memory from being a Hatco Rep?

A: Being associated with Hatco brings best memories to me almost every week. One stand out is being thrown dinner rolls at while standing on the podium at a national sales meeting while trying to answer a Hatco Jeopardy question in the finals competition. Nothing like being put under pressure by your peers!

Thank you to Randy Tepper for providing these answers and to Tepper & Associates, now Professional Reps - Florida, for being a Hatco Rep for 65 years this May!

Q: What was the first piece of Hatco equipment your business sold?

A: Long time ago. Hate to say it, but it was probably a Booster Heater or Glo-Ray® Warmer, we didn’t have nearly all the products that we have today.

Q: What has being a Hatco Rep meant for your business?

A: It’s always nice to be with a family who is an industry leader and trend setter. Taking it again to the next level and now being an employee-owned company who shows great care and attitude to the foodservice industry. It has definitely complimented our other leading factories we represent by helping us hold the stability and credibility of our local Rep firm business too.

Q: What is the best memory from being a Hatco Rep?

A: Rep Gig 2000, all the NAFEM parties and the reunions at shows to see everybody again!

Thank you to Mike Swenson for providing these answers and to Pacific Rim Rep Group for being a Hatco Rep for 31 years!

Q: What was the first piece of Hatco equipment your business sold?

A: Definitely an electric hot water booster. Back in the 60’s and 70’s, hot water boosters represented the bulk of our sales volume.

Q: What has being a Hatco Rep meant for your business?

A: Having the Hatco line in our portfolio has meant that Schmid Dewland represents the class manufacturer of the food service industry. Representing the Hatco line provides our sales associates with automatic creditability and confidence with end-users, consultants, and dealers.

Q: What is the best memory from being a Hatco Rep?

A: There are many. My dad’s recollection of LaReine Hatch – her many hats, her uncanny knack of remembering names, a very intelligent and classy lady. Beer and crabs with Dave Hatch at Captain Cats. We came close to getting tossed out. And more recently, our sales meetings, Hatco School, and NAFEM parties. They are educational, informative, and we always laugh and have fun.

Thank you to Mark Schmid for providing these answers and to Schmid Dewland Associates for being a Hatco Rep for 56 years this May!
